Wouldn't Mind Getting Lost @ Sea...

I'm the kind of person who rejects new artists as 'crap' and their music as variants of whats 'already out there' so whenever I see people tweet or hear them talk about the latest newbie on the scene I just ignore it cos really, these are the same people that listen to OG Niki and the like...

So anyways, I was chatting to my friend Isaac on Friday night and he was like:

'Have you heard of Frank Ocean?'

and my response was like

'Frank-and-the-what-now?''I thought he was talking about English Frank (who I still haven't listened to)

and he was like

'Nah, you HAVE to listen to him. He's sick!' *Ize was playing him in the background*

and I was like

'Hmmm, he sounds like he sings all them 'love hurts and is so painful' kinda songs'

*almost shouting at me*

'Nah, not AT ALL...trust me, you have to listen to him!'

To placate him, I agreed to checking Frank O out the next time I was online...which happened to be approx. 6 mins later.

I YouTubed him and within the first 30 seconds of Novacane I knew that he would become that guy for the foreseeable future...

For the first time in ages, I was actually annoyed that LimeWire had shut up shop...

The next day...

I was on Bobbi Wande 's blog (which is oh-so-sick) and he posted a link to Frank Oceans mixtape... I can't lie, it felt like Christmas.

But anyways, to make a long story a little less long:

Frank Ocean is the ish
and
I have not stopped playing 'Nostalgia/Ultra' since last week, I know about 80% of the lyrics
and
if he comes to London, imma be in the front row, harmonising along to Songs for Women

Frank Ocean - you have just gained yourself a fan!
