A Real Life Fairytale

As a Nigerian girl born and bred in south east London I have never felt close to the Royal Family or even had any interest in them but today it was like all my favourite Disney 'Princess' movies came to life...

It's weird because all through the build up of today I have been so uninterested; making remarks and doing alotta neck snapping while dismissing the whole thing as a waste of tax payers cash but as soon as I switched on it was a different story...

I tuned in just as the newlyweds were walking out of the Abbey to greet the crowds, it was then that I first saw The Dress...

Amazing!

The romantic in me that still believes in chivalry, true love and soul mates wept tears of hope and optimism....

The whole thing didn't feel modern at all, there was something elegantly and magically old school about it.

Whilst watching the reports Grace Kelly was mentioned alot...

Grace Kelly

Kates sister Pippa looked pretty aswell...

And so did Kates mum...

There were quite a few guests there some of whom looked amazing and some didn't...

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie
Nick Clegg's wife

I dunno who this lady is but I like her vybes...

The Beckhams

Tara Palmer Tomkinson

Sam Cam

Here are some more pictures that made me sigh and daydream...

So sweet...

Cue fanfare and credits...

"Aston Martin mu-sic mu-sic"

Even Google paid homage by creating a new homepage...

Not everyone was wrapped up in the fairy tale though...

I wish the happy couple all the best for the future, I really do - even though I don't know them personally and they don't know I exist...

The whole Ceremony was very beautiful!

I wasn't born for Prince Charles and Diana's Wedding! But I can tell my children I was there for William's and Kate's :-)
